Job Purpose
To keep the Product Center open in working hours, and maintain a minimum product inventory for serving urgent needs by customers in Texas and surrounding States. To provide customer supports on both portable and fixed product lines, manage rental fleets and sales, integrate fixed products with locally sourced parts into full systems, and conduct product service trainings to American distributors and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Technical support on all product lines (Portables and Fixed) working with our teams in Santa Clara, CA and Shanghai, China.
2. Fixed Systems - testing and final assembly with local parts by directly working with the design and manufacture team in Shanghai, China.
3. Assist with product development according to the product line road map.
4. Assist with managing service and pricing.
5. Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems and update relevant information on the spread sheets provided.
6. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
7. Develop service training guidelines and materials for all product lines for service center trainings.
8. Respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
9. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
10. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions.
Qualifications
· Education:
o BA/BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
· Experience:
o Must have sales experience in at least two of the following areas: gas detection, wireless systems, network systems, or instruments.
o 7+ yrs. Related experience in Technical Support, Application Engineering or Field Service Engineering.
o Skilled in MS Office 365

· The key challenge for this position is to transcend potential issues related to technical support, service, rental, and fixed systems.
Supervision Received
· The incumbent is expected to manage his/her own schedule and seek assistance from management, and engineering, as required to complete job.
· Reports directly to the Product Center Manager dotted to the Director of Operations.
Supervision Given
· No direct supervision of other employees at this time. This may change as product line revenue grows.
Access to Confidential Information
· The incumbent will have access to business plans, product strategies, engineering drawings, schematics, product release schedules, prototypes, and other sensitive competitive information in the generation of their work per the Company's document control policy.
· Proper judgment and discretion to protect company confidential and proprietary information.
