Our products include retail and payment applications that span stores, mobile and web together with a Java based microservices development toolkit, resource libraries and a technology platform. Role Description

In this pivotal role you will be tasked with conveying the value of the Enactor Solution to both prospective and existing clients, to achieve business objectives and resolve business issues. You will be involved in all areas of pre-sales from initial contact through to project initiation and responsibilities will include tasks such as Requests for Information, requirement gathering & demonstrations.  


Specifically, you will demonstrate how the components of the Enactor solution are used, and how they can be configured to meet the client’s requirements, during Pre-Sales and Post Sales stages. You will be working as part of the Sales and Marketing team; direct contact with prospective and current clients is a key aspect of the role.


You will also liaise with our development resources in the UK, US and Sri Lanka to work on enhancements to the demonstration solutions, and to obtain resolution to any issues identified. In certain cases, where development activities may be required before a demonstration, you may be asked to assist with the documentation of a functional specification and work directly with the development team.


Once a deal has been won, you will assist with the handover of the client to the delivery teams, explaining all the key information, such as infrastructure constraints or functional requirements, that we have assembled during the engagement. 


You will play a consulting, in-country role in implementations such as functional workshops, business process documentation and technical designs. You will work both with the customer and the Enactor team to ensure a successful collaborative delivery of the Enactor solution particularly where they may be local resources needed in Mexico and Spanish language skills in order to execute complex project deliverables.


The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of retail business processes with a focus on store commerce and supporting activities. The candidate should be comfortable working in a technical environment alongside technical resources.


Key Responsibilities Post Sales:

● Implementation and Support:

○ Facilitate the installation and configuration of POS software and hardware.

○ Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for POS systems.

○ Conduct system testing and ensure smooth integration with other business systems (e.g., inventory management, CRM).

● Requirements Analysis:

○ Gather and analyze client business requirements to determine POS system needs.

○ Document and communicate requirements to technical teams.

○ Identify and resolve gaps between client needs and system capabilities.

● Consulting and Training:

○ Advise clients on best practices for POS system utilization.

○ Develop and deliver training programs for end-users.

○ Provide guidance on optimizing POS workflows and processes.

● System Optimization:

○ Recommend system enhancements and updates.

○ Stay up-to-date on POS technology trends and advancements.


 Pre-sales responsibilities: 

○ Demonstrate the Enactor platform to customers in Latin America

○ Prepare demonstration systems

○ Deploy test systems on customer hardware

○ Deliver proof-of-concepts on customer sites

○ Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

● Technical Proficiency:

○ Strong understanding of the Retail POS industry 

○ Heavy experience with deploying Retail POS hardware and software solutions

○ Experience with POS system configuration and troubleshooting.

○ Knowledge of database management and networking principles.

○ Experience with SQL, Java or React is often desired.


● Business Acumen:

○ Understanding of retail or hospitality business processes.

○ Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

○ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  


● Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

○ Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.  

○ Teamwork.

○ Presentation and demonstration skills.

○ Experience of managing and configuring packaged solutions.

○ Interest in and understanding of the retail and/or retail software industry 

○ The ability to research and keep on top of industry developments

○ Aptitude for time management and organisation.

○ Problem-solving ability.

○ Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

○ Ability to work in an environment with different time zones.

○ Strong customer service and relationship management skills. 


● Education and Experience:

○ A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred.

○ Relevant experience in POS system implementation and support, 

○ Fully bilingual in English & Spanish
