We are looking for a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Clinical Applications team. This role is essential to the strategic planning, implementation, and management of clinical applications within our organization. You will be part of a talented technology team that works on mission-critical applications, ensuring that systems are running optimally and meeting business needs. What You'll Do


  • Application Delivery: Develop, administer, and manage clinical applications, ensuring they meet business requirements. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define system requirements, conduct testing, and implement solutions.
  • Application Operations and Support: Prioritize and resolve incidents and issues related to applications. Maintain optimal performance, monitor for issues, and ensure applications remain effective, secure, and up to date.
  • Project Management: Lead and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet business needs. Document processes and ensure projects follow agreed methodologies.
  • Relationships Management & Teamwork: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other external parties. Promote the effective use of applications and foster a collaborative IT environment.
  • Professional Development & Growth: Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge, contribute to team learning, and support others' development within the team.


Key requirements:

Essential:


  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Strong technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure, servers, networks, and operating systems
  • Experience working with ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively


Desirable:


  • Experience with clinical or radiology applications in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of PACS/RIS systems and data integration/management with SQL databases
