We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to support our mortgage operations and IT teams in maintaining the BytePro loan origination software. This entry-level position is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong scripting abilities and a passion for process improvement. The successful candidate will provide support to internal users, contribute to automation efforts, and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our BytePro environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the BytePro LOS environment, including user access, system configurations, and workflow maintenance.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based automations to streamline loan processing functions.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues via a ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate communication with end-users.
• Collaborate with IT and mortgage operations teams to understand system needs and implement improvements.
• Monitor system performance and logs, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Assist with user training and documentation related to BytePro functionality and process automation.
• Participate in system testing and updates as required by regulatory or business changes.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, particularly for use in scripting and automation tasks.
• Working knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk) 
• Basic understanding of automation principles and scripting workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and provide clear, actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the mortgage loan origination process and common terminology.
• Experience with Windows OS administration, user permissions, and desktop support.
• Exposure to other loan origination systems or financial technology platforms is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred but not required. Recent graduates with the right skills are encouraged to apply.

Salary Range: $18 - $25 / hour
