What are you going to do?
In this role you will be providing remote and on-site support for Voortman USA, resolving technical issues, maintaining customer records, and delivering regular reports.
* Respond to a high volume of inbound calls from customers and field staff requesting technical support.
* Troubleshoot and analyze issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions for both Voortman and third-party applications.
* Prioritize and manage service delivery by actively listening to customer concerns and providing clear, practical guidance.
* Monitor, respond to, and archive incoming emails in a timely manner.
* Deliver remote support using web-based tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams).
* Create, update, and distribute regular status reports and documentation.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the SAP system.
* Prepare and submit weekly activity and support reports.
* Conduct regular customer meetings and occasional on-site visits to assess needs, resolve issues, and deliver tailored support.
* Communicate customer feedback to internal teams to aid in product development and improvement.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
What is your preferred work location?
We ask
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid driver's license, passport, and ability to travel internationally.
* Knowledge and/or experience with 2D & 3D CAD/CAM software.
* Familiarity with DSTV files and G code.
* PLC knowledge is an asset.
* Willingness to travel for training, including international locations.
* Experience with machine tooling and operation is a plus.
* Familiarity with software such as Sigmanest, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
