Summary:
1. The DWH Applications Support Manager is a production support organization role.
2. Candidate should be well verse with DWH, ETL and Reporting sub areas of Data
Analytics Domain
3.Responsible for technically managing a team of L1/L2/L3 ETL engineers
engaged in 24*7 monitoring, support of ETL/Data applications, jobs, and other ETL
workflows.
This role manages the team to ensure that all support or service requests are
dealt with according to the agreed procedures.
Should communicates and negotiates with stakeholders and external parties on application support related matters.
Reviews periodic reports on the issues raised and resolved and identifies trends of
issues raised.
Working Hours: Rotational Shift
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Team Management of 12-15 production ETL Engineers. The tools are mix of Informatica,
SQL, Hadoop CDP and similar.
2. Shift Management, Team Roster, ETL Technical Issue Management, Client Management,
Production Support Calls and Escalation Management
3. Support the team in Issue Triaging, Root cause analysis, Communication Management
4. Support the team in ETL Job Lineage, Data Lineage, Data Models, and other technical
areas of Data warehouse management.
Technical Proficiency:
1. Any of ETL tools like Informatica, Datastage or similar
2. Big Data Hadoop Support Experience is a plus
3. Orchestration Scheduling tools like: Control M, Autosys, Airflow or similar
4. SQL, DWH skills
