About the Role

A Junior Support Analyst is sought to join a collaborative and highly supportive team working within the mining technology sector. This role offers a strong pathway to grow your SQL and C# skills in a commercial setting, while supporting a variety of internal systems used across the business.

Working alongside a team of experienced analysts and developers, you’ll be responsible for analysing support issues, identifying root causes, and contributing to fixes and code enhancements. It’s varied work — no two days are the same — and you’ll gradually take on more hands-on development responsibilities as you grow into the role.

You’ll join a team that values collaboration, offers a relaxed environment, and supports hybrid work after an initial onboarding period.

You Should Have

• 6–12 months of commercial experience using SQL
• A background in analysis or development
• Exposure to C# (you don’t need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable learning and applying it)
• An interest in solving problems and a willingness to learn on the job
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working through technical issues

Nice to Have

• Power BI experience (especially building reports)
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or SSIS
• 1–2 years of commercial experience
• Backgrounds in Analyst or Developer roles

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the support ticket queue daily
• Investigate and analyse problems, communicating with clients where required
• Identify root causes and apply SQL and C# to resolve issues
• Contribute to ongoing code maintenance and support
• Gradually build toward full development responsibilities, coding from scratch over time
