Our enterprise client is a leader in building cutting edge technical solutions to support ongoing regulatory and oversight efforts. This role is recruiting an experienced Application Security Engineer who's expertise first and foremost is application development. This team has built and manages a number of in house applications used for security purposes.

Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Develop tools in Python
• Write Code in Java for new application feature
• Develop feature enhancements
• Create microservices and web apps using Java Spring Boot or other similar components
• Maintain applications in a variety of code language bases including Java, Python, Javascript
• Be able to do occasional after hours product support
• Manage web application firewall solutions
• Support application security in a cloud hosted environment

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of development experience.
• Frontend – HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, Frameworks - Angular/ReactJS, TypseScirpt
• Backend – Java, SpringBoot, Python, SQL, ReST, MicroServices
• Experience with version control such as BitBucket and Git
• Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD with Jenkins
• Networking knowledge such as DNS – CNAME, A, TXT records, CIDR, NSLookup/Dig, Protocols – HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP, SSL/TLS
• Strong Web Application Firewall Experience - Cloudflare and AWS WAF

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
