Amarel was founded in 2004 and operates in various fields, offering complementary professional services to global and local clients in both defense and commercial sectors.

We are currently seeking an experienced Application Project Engineer to oversee our portfolio of applications within the organization.

Location: Yokneam / Tel Aviv

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage application projects, particularly focusing on the Priority-ERP system, from initiation to completion. Coordinate both internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery, ensuring that the applications are aligned with organizational needs.
  • Change Requests & System Improvements: Assess and implement system changes and improvements of the different applications based on the evolving needs of the organization, ensuring these changes enhance functionality, improve workflows, and align with business goals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly measure and monitor the performance of the different applications using key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and analyze performance reports, identifying areas for optimization and continuous improvement within the ERP environment.
  • Supplier & Vendor Relations: Select and manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure that third-party services and integrations maintain high-quality standards and meet business requirements.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure configuration and utilizing in a way that best supports business operations. Provide regular updates to management on the status of projects, system performance, and any changes made to the ERP systems.
  • System Maintenance & Upgrades: Oversee the ongoing maintenance, updates, and upgrades of the different applications , ensuring it remains current with technological advancements, industry standards, and business requirements.
  • End-User Training: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure they are proficient with the applications , empowering them to utilize its full capabilities effectively in their day-to-day tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or Information Systems Engineering (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading complex application projects (required) with Priority-ERP.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in work-related Priority application projects (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years in Priority Implementation
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) systems (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of core organizational systems.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to work in a multi-interface environment, taking initiative and demonstrating responsibility.
