Working as a key part of the Project Monitoring team to ensure that the IT application is developed and rolled out efficiently in line with the organisations IT Strategy Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer at all levels to understand their business drivers and work with the users to understand requirements and monitor delivery of technical solutions to meet business requirements. Monitoring of Project Plans to ensure timely execution. To provide subject expertise to the department for the defence pension domain, being the strategic driver for the product. Provide subject experience/ implementation skills for Pension Application development for defence pensioners, Data Migration and document management system. Understand various project objectives and client requirements at different stages of the project and address concerns in proactive manner. Monitoring IT applications and implementations ensuring that all measures are taken for successful delivery. Validating application design and the project deliverables like Software requirement Specification (SRS) document, UAT test cases etc. Skills : Desirable Skills & Experience Good experience in Application Development and implementation. Exposure of working throughout the project life cycle. Have played similar role in at least two large IT projects implementation. Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices. Experience with database management. Familiarity with Project management principles. Experience with Information system troubleshooting. Demonstrated skill in developing automated business systems. Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience Qualifications : B.E/B. Tech/MCA/Post graduation (IT), M.Sc (IT)/ M.Tech or equivalent Experience : Experience 12 years Application Development & Implementation Experience Minimum 5 years Others : To Ensure proper documentation and processes establishment as per industry best practices that includes:Application Support Procedures, Change Management, Incident Management, System and Technical Configuration Documentation, Internal and External Users Training, Release Management Understanding of system software: Virtualisation, Operating system, Servers: Application, Web, Database, Application performance management, Application security Coordination between system integrator teams and department stakeholders around the project to manage ongoing communication of project status including regular updates to manage stakeholder expectations.
