Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Project Manager to manage the planning, execution, and delivery of application-based projects. Using the current adoption of process framework and practices, this role will define project resources, manage project progress, and facilitate interaction and tasks of various parties to ensure that project deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors engaged in the project.
• Manage and submit project deliverables in line with the project plan.
• Manage and resolve project issues at project level.
• Manage project scope and change control where necessary.
• Monitor project progress and performance and provide updates to all stakeholders.
• Report and escalate project issues as necessary.
• Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities.
• Work closely with users to ensure project meets business needs.
• Definition and management of the User Acceptance Testing program.
• Identify user training needs, devise, and manage user training programs.
• Manage and motivate software developers and other team members.
• Prepare and present project status reports.
• Establish effective project communication plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of IT work experience with at least 5 years of Project management experience
• Experienced in managing application projects
• Certifications in Project Management (PMP) would be an added advantage
• Experience in Agile Scrum Development and Implementation as a certified practitioner would be an added advantage.
• Able to balance between project requirements and people management to achieve project targets within deadlines and budget
• Able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Customer-oriented person with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results
• Ability to communicate to different level of stakeholders
