Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex enterprise systems using Python.
• Work within a proprietary framework supporting derivative product workflows.
• Build and consume REST APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Utilize async IO and elastic compute environments.
• Integrate and maintain messaging systems like Kafka and AMPS.
• Write unit tests and participate in the release process.
• Reverse engineer and enhance existing codebases.
• Analyze and implement feature requests with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile setup.
• Communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Adapt to rapidly changing business and technical requirements.
  
  

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proficient in working with REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with async IO and distributed computing.
• Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka and AMPS.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing and code quality best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
