Position Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically adept Applications Manager to oversee and enhance our core business platforms. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic oversight and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ensure the optimal performance of systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Salesforce, SolidWorks PDM, Office 365, and Microsoft Copilot.


Key Responsibilities


  • Platform Administration & Optimization
  • Take ownership of key systems—Business Central, Salesforce, SolidWorks PDM, Office 365, and AI-powered tools—ensuring they are reliable, high-performing, and user-friendly. Manage daily system operations while continuously identifying areas for improvement.


  • AI & Automation Enablement
  • Drive innovation by implementing tools like Microsoft Copilot to automate workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve team efficiency.


  • Project Leadership
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of technology initiatives—from planning and execution to post-launch support. Coordinate across internal teams and manage vendor partnerships to deliver results on time and within scope.


  • Vendor & External Partner Collaboration
  • Work with third-party vendors and development teams to roll out new features, integrations, and system upgrades tailored to evolving business needs.


  • Training & Support
  • Create clear documentation, deliver training, and provide ongoing user support to ensure system adoption and encourage self-sufficiency across departments.


  • What You Bring to the Table
  • Hands-on experience with Business Central, Salesforce, SolidWorks PDM, and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms
  • Strong technical skills in system configuration, issue resolution, and change management
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail with a structured, process-oriented mindset


  • Nice to Have
  • Formal project management experience—PMP certification or similar is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage a mix of internal projects and third-party solutions
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment


  • Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience


  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in enterprise systems support (ERP, CRM, etc.), with a focus on continuous improvement and project delivery
