As an Application Engineer, the candidate will be part of a team focused on the development, implementation, and technical support of open-source-based applications. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about innovation and application development within the open-source ecosystem.

Responsibilities

The Application Engineering team is responsible for developing (developing & customizing), implementing, and providing technical support for open-source-based applications.

Required Skills

• Possess a positive attitude, strong enthusiasm for learning, and the ability to work well in a team.
• Technical experience in developing, customizing, and deploying applications.
• Technical experience with programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bash and Python.
• Familiar with Git, GitHub, and other technologies used in application development.
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems, containers, virtualization environments, networks, and system components.
• Knowledge of open-source technology.
• Contributions to open-source projects are an added advantage.
• Experience in deploying application on docker are an added advantage
