Intralox China is currently seeking an Application Engineer to support Sales and Customers in China. We are looking for someone who achieves satisfaction professionally by influencing value-added technical ideas and helping customer achieve their goals. The successful candidate will be working in a multi-cultural, industry focused, teamwork environment providing technical and product recommendations in support of the teams sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Technical evaluation of sales opportunities, reviewing application data and determining product suitability.
• Promoting Intralox solutions to clients technically alongside field sales.
• Taking technical lead on consulting and training customers on Intralox conveyor design guidelines.
• Take the ownership and leadership role in the technical communications with plant level contact to build trust.
• Evaluation and optimizing of conveyance and preparation of guidelines for conveyor retrofits.
• Assisting with after-sale activities by applying technical skills on installations, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Working together with application engineers worldwide and other team members on sales opportunities or resolving issues.
• Assist in technical audits.
• Attend trade-shows when necessary as Intralox product specialist.
  
  

Requirements

• Native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering/technology field.
• 3-5 years of work experience in application engineering or similar role with direct customer contact.
• Knowledge/experience in food processing or line automation equipment is a plus.
• A self-managed and self-motivated individual with strong ownership and commitment who excels in global team environment.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout mainland China.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with great attention to details.
• Ability to create drawings in AutoCAD or similar.
• Flexible working schedule, available to support colleagues and customers after regular business hours.
• Confident presentation skill for medium to large group of customers.
