This client in the financial services industry, is hiring an Application Development Manager to lead and evolve its enterprise banking software environment. The company supports a wide range of technologies including Jack Henry, MeridianLink, Encompass, and Alkami, making this a great fit for someone with a background in financial technology leadership.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy and people development. You'll lead a team of developers and analysts while working closely with executive leadership to drive product and project delivery across multiple platforms. Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience working with core financial systems such as Jack Henry (Symitar, Synergy, SymXchange, ARCU, Synapsys), MeridianLink, Encompass, Alkami, COTS, Image Center, OpCon, etc.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, and quality assurance practices
• Proven track record in technical leadership and team management, including coaching and career development
• Ability to partner with and influence senior/executive leadership on technology initiatives
• Solid grasp of agile and iterative project management methodologies, including backlog prioritization and sprint planning
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on development experience with Symitar, PowerOn, RepGEN, or similar core banking tools
• Familiarity with IBM AIX operating systems
• Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and JavaScript for system integration and customization
• Exposure to the ITIL framework and experience implementing repeatable engineering processes, templates, or best practices
