Job Summary: Zoeller Pump Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Applications Engineer with experience in the wastewater industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater engineering, a passion for providing innovative solutions, and a commitment to excellence in their work. This role will involve working closely with the quotations department to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for clients, streamlining the proposal process, and providing timely responses to customer inquiries. EIT certification with aspirations to become PE certified is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for performing hydraulic analysis, design, and specification of components and assemblies for Low Pressure Sewer (LPS), commercial and municipal pump systems. Perform cost analyses and provide submittals for commercial and municipal jobs. Contribute to the development and improvement of municipal collection and treatment systems and/or on-site wastewater systems. Work closely with Quotations department to solve technical problems and provide timely responses to customer inquiries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 1-2 years of engineering experience; experience with pumps, municipal collection and treatment systems and/or on-site wastewater systems is a plus. EIT certified with strong aspirations of becoming PE certified.
