Location: Mainland China, Suzhou - tesa Site Suzhou Level: Professionals Function: Research & Development About the role Analyze & carry out application test requests from customers and provide convincing test results to stakeholders with over 80% lab testing work. What you will do Responsible for handling application tests from customers, analyzing customer’s technical needs, conducting competitive lab testing & analysis, and providing solutions in the form of convincing reports; Ensure that tesa Standard Test Methods (JOPM) are applied in lab testing work; Develop & maintain state of art technical expertise and devise test methods; Responsible for at least one standard lab equipment, including setting up and performing routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition; Follow established 6S procedures to maintain a safe, clean, well ordered working environment; Coach and mentor less experienced team members in standard and application test methods; Other tasks assigned by the superior. What you will need Bachelor/Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent; Working experience in tape related industry with knowledge on product application and testing as added advantages; Good work attitude and willingness to learn from and with one another; being open minded; Analytical skill to question validity of test results; Good hands-on attitude; Good execution, result and quality orientated work process, priority setting flexible, self-motivating; High alertness to safety issues and 6s program; Good statistical analysis skill; Good writing and speaking English.
