Job Title: Application Developer Department: IT
Reports To: VP of IT FLSA Status: Exempt
Shift: Hybrid- 2 Days in Office Required Wage Range: $65,000-$85,000

Job Summary: An Application Developer is responsible for building software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. The application developer will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, the application developer will write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. With the primary role of working with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software You should be a team player and excellent communicator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain and support .NET web applications
* Manage Tasks for the entire software product life cycle.
* Develop and support database-based applications for various systems.
* Research and develop new systems & software technologies to improve workflow efficiency.
* Support existing and developing new reporting and report delivery systems.
* Monitor systems and usage for system workload, training needs, backups, and various logs.
* Develop integration solutions for ERP and related systems.
* Coordinate support from 3rd party vendors for ERP-related systems when necessary.
* Establish & follow application development standards and procedures.
* Perform maintenance on all related database systems as scheduled, and as necessary (including setting up regular maintenance windows where appropriate).
* Maintain and monitor database system status to ensure peak system performance and readiness.
* Suggesting solutions and collaborating with individuals on defining specifications for application development projects.
* Communicate effectively and efficiently the status of projects and new opportunities in technology.
* Document Work Orders and procedures.
* Provide support/backup for other IT team members as requested by the Director of IT.
* Participate in cross training activities within the IT department.
* Support 6S Initiatives, as required.
* Follow all Nahan Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
* Complete other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Skills and Abilities Required:
* Interest in AI Tools and technology
* Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects at one time.
* Ability to organize and maintain project request and documentation process.
* Knowledge in web development including.NET frameworks within Visual Studio.
* Knowledge in DevExpress, Redgate, 3rd party API Integration experience preferred.
* Strong communications skills (written, verbal and listening).
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently the status of projects and new opportunities in technology.
* Flexible in schedule to meet internal/external customer needs. Flexible in schedule to accommodate 24/7 operation including on-call assignments
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's or associates degree in computer science or related field, equal work experience may be substituted for education.
* Two Years' experience in developing full-stack applications using Microsoft .Net technologies.
* Two Years' experience with Microsoft SQL Database Application.
* Extensive knowledge of application development, databases including .NET development, C#, MS SQL, Visual Studio, Web Services, TFS, Report Writing SSRS, Crystal.
* Experience in direct mail, print, marketing, and/or manufacturing industries is a plus.

This job operates in a hybrid office environment with exposure to a Manufacturing environment on occasion.
