About the Role
Responsible for designing, cording, documenting, testing and maintaining software applications, focusing on creating functional programs and applications for various platforms, including current and emerging technologies, such as the Microsoft .Net set of technologies and React. Devise or modify technical solutions to solve problems. Perform at a high level of technical capability while developing or maintaining application systems. Collaborate with IT colleagues, business stakeholders, and project team members to evaluate, design, and provide technical solutions that support the Chamber’s business goals and contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions, which help optimize the customer experience and contribute to improved business efficiencies. Act as an internal technical consultant and key technical contributor on emerging technologies used for the internet, intranet, or internal applications. Develop sound, cost-effective applications to achieve customer needs. Stay abreast of current IT technologies and understand where these technologies can be deployed to provide cost-effective business solutions.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Four-year college degree in information systems, technology, or related area of computer science or equivalent work experience. Five to eight or more years’ experience designing and deploying data processing and systems projects. Must be highly competent in the following technology areas: C# .NET Core development skills, React development skills, SQL Server database programming and administration, Azure Cloud development skills, Source control experience (Git preferred), Sitecore or Optimizely programming and administration (highly desirable), Azure Cloud configuration and administration, XML, JSON, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript. Good verbal and written communications skills. Good ability to express complex technical concepts in terms less technical people can understand. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually.
