About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET stack to join a high-impact project for 8 months. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge custom applications using modern Microsoft technologies in a hybrid work environment based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain custom information systems based on IT specifications.
2. Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
3. Create models, components, code, unit tests, and thorough documentation.
4. Leverage C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework for application development.
5. Work with relational databases including SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MySQL.
6. Apply best practices using the latest .NET frameworks and DevOps tools.
7. Participate in Agile development teams using Microsoft DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 8–10 years of experience in application development using the Microsoft stack.
2. Strong knowledge of C# and/or VB.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
3. Proven track record of end-to-end development using Microsoft technologies.
4. Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, and related data tools.
5. Experience with Agile methodologies and Microsoft DevOps toolsets.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
