DUTIES: Responsible for applications development and quality assurance procedures including SDLC, SOX and PCI compliance; understand and evaluate relevant requirements, architecture, and design documentation; implement design patterns and object-oriented programming techniques; configure, integrate, and extend commercial software components; implement software components (e.g. prototypes, bug fixes, enhancements etc.) in accordance with relevant requirements, system and software architectures, designs, language specification/idioms, and coding standards; refactor and iterate software components as defined by SCI SDLC and SOX; perform unit testing including the implementation, execution and evaluation of unit tests; debug the software components, identify and fix defects; manage and triage defects; maintain and support production systems to ensure uptime and stability; write instructions to guide Production Support during production runs; lead software development efforts, develop timelines and cost estimates for projects; assist architects in developing architectures and frameworks for development; work with network, database, and server teams for deployment of software.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Technology Analyst/Lead, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 8 years in software development using .NET, .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, CSS, SQL Server, SSIS, and Crystal Report. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 6 years of experience in the above. Experience therein to include 3 years with DevOps. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
