This opportunity entails developing and/or configuring complex software. This position uses comprehensive knowledge of development languages, troubleshooting skills and data modeling. Works independently with minimal guidance.

What You’ll Do

• Develops and/or configures software of diverse scope and complexity.
• Consults on support calls, applying in-depth knowledge and experience in identifying solutions.
• Works with the customer to clarify and further define requirements, as necessary.
• Designs complex system specifications. Plans and estimates activities needed to complete projects.
• Leads code reviews. Participates in Architecture Review Board.
• Mentors Level I and II developers and participates in cross training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and 4 years application development experience, or
• In lieu of education, 8 years application development experience including .Net/C#, T-SQL/SQL, or JavaScript.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Independently solves complex problems.
• Experienced in multiple programming languages. Applies experience to effectively support multiple platforms. (Azure, JavaScript, Python, .Net/C#, T-SQL/SQL)
• Begins to specialize in software configuration, data management, machine learning, integrations and/or reporting, as applicable.
• Understands how daily work impacts the business.
• Mentors Level I and II developers and participates in cross training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

What We Prefer

• Design of analytic data platforms using Azure data products and services
• Data Ingestion, movement, and transformation in cloud platform.
• Exposure to Azure data platform products/services is a plus:
• Azure Synapse (Pipelines, Notebooks)
• Azure Data Factory
• Python, SQL
• Azure DevOps (Boards/Repos/Pipelines) including git
• Understanding and experience in Dimensional data modeling
• Experience designing and deploying Azure data/integration solutions
• Delta Lake
• Databricks, Apache Spark
• Power BI, Tibco WebFocus, SSRS
• SSAS tabular and multi-dimensional development
• Experience with Azure Infrastructure Setup (including automation via ARM templates)
• Visual Studio, C#/.NET
• Azure Serverless Application platform i.e. Logic Apps/Functions/Power Apps
• Azure Service Bus/Event Hub platforms
