As the Microsoft D365 F&O Functional Developer of McLane Global, you will be responsible for designing, developing and customizing business applications in Microsoft Power Platform, power apps and Dynamics 365 CE/CRM. This role involves building custom model-driven and canvas apps, automating workflows with Power Automate, and extending D365 modules like Sales Hub, Customer Service, Marketing and custom apps through custom development. The developer will also integrate data across systems with D365 F&O, build dashboards, and deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions that support business operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop custom model-driven apps, canvas apps, and native apps using Power Apps, Power Fx, and Dataverse. Build and manage complex Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and integrate across Microsoft and third-party systems. Customize and extend Dynamics 365 CE/CRM modules, including Sales Hub, Customer Service, and custom dashboards, using standard tools and custom development (JavaScript, plugins, business rules). Design and implement integrations using custom connectors, REST APIs, OData, and Azure Logic Apps to connect Power Platform with external systems. Develop and deploy native SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, and custom embedded reports within Dynamics 365 CRM, tailored to specific business needs. Hands-on experience with Sales Insights, AI-driven recommendations, and Copilot features within Dynamics 365 to enhance user productivity and decision-making. Ability to leverage AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, or similar tools to integrate AI capabilities into Power Platform apps. Perform D365 CRM development tasks, including custom entities, forms, views, workflows, business process flows, and solution management. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-deployment support to ensure adoption and ease of use of developed solutions. Support data migration and data integration efforts, including data transformation and mapping within the Data Management Framework and Power Platform tools. Follow ALM best practices using Azure DevOps and manage solution deployment across environments. Stay current on Microsoft Power Platform and D365 updates, features, and roadmap items, recommending enhancements where applicable. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in information technology or equivalent experience in relevant fields. PL-400 Microsoft Power Platform Developer PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant MB-910 Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (Customer Engagement) (preferred) Minimum of 2 years in Lean methodologies, process improvement, operational excellence, or experience supporting new product/service launches. Proven experience in leading change initiatives and managing projects from inception to completion. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power Platform development, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. Proven experience developing custom model-driven apps, canvas apps, and native apps using Power Apps and Power Fx. Strong experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, including Sales Hub, Customer Service, and dashboard customizations. Proficient in creating and deploying SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, and custom embedded reports within D365 CRM. Knowledge of data integration using custom connectors, OData, REST APIs, and Azure Logic Apps. Experience with D365 CRM customization, including custom entities, forms, views, business process flows and workflows. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for solution deployment and version control. Ability to work with business users to gather requirements, deliver training, and ensure alignment with business processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions. Experience supporting end-user training, UAT, and go-live activities. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues. Proficient knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, PDCA, Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels. Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio. WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to work in both office and production floor environments. Flexible to work across 1st and 2nd shifts, as needed. Occasional travel (10-15%) may be required for training, workshops, or facility assessments. Keyboarding - (Up to 8 hours per day) Entering text or data into a computer by means of a keyboard. Devices include a traditional keyboard, 10 keypads, touch screen and others. Sitting/Standing - (Up to 8 hours per day) The ability to alternate between sitting and standing at a desk is present when a worker has the flexibility to choose between sitting or standing as needed when this need cannot be accommodated by scheduled breaks and/or lunch period.
