About the Role As a Global Application Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for our application engineering function on a global scale. This role will involve leading an international team of engineers and collaborating with senior leadership to align technical initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and leadership experience to ensure the successful deployment, optimization, and standardization of our processes and solutions to be even more strategic across international markets. Main responsibilities will include: Lead and mentor a global team of application engineers, fostering a global and common culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Develop and execute a global strategy for application engineering, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth targets Analyse customers’ needs, guide the optimization of production processes and develop a production automation concept in cooperation with the final customer Market development for new product lines, acting as the main interface with central functions in the company Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive successful and long-term partnerships (e.g: team up with FlexLink Operating Units) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address regional and global technical challenges, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and tailored to diverse market needs What You Need To Be Successful Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and at least 5 years of leadership experience in global application engineering or technical management, preferably within a multinational organization Demonstrated success in leading technical teams, with a strong understanding of cross-border technical requirements Good command of AutoDesk CAD Tools Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
