The Role

• Undertakes a technical leadership (high level business analysis and application design) and coordination on complex and/or critical projects. Ensures a role of overall design authority for any functional and technical designs for a specific part of the enterprise applications and systems.
• Designs IT applications and systems (integrated process, applications, data and technology) providing solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards
• Ensures proper translation of business requirements into a set of structured functional and technical processes and data models
• Is responsible for assessing the feasibility of the Application Development part of new projects impacting applications in own domain of expertise. Provides high level budget and workload estimations for the design and development part of these projects.
• Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings
• Support the Enterprise Architecture team in the assessment of the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
• May control that the development specifications produced by projects are aligned with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines and with the architectural decisions taken during the feasibility analysis.
• Is empowered to take decisions for all design related topics linked to own area of expertise, with a level of discretion governed by established procedures and the Enterprise Architecture guidelines. Activities are subject to managerial review.
• Has regularly to deal with changes, adjustment and instability in the maintenance of existing complex and critical applications. Contribute to the definition of business cases which have a important impact on (commercial) business processes.
  
  

Requirements

• Has an expert knowledge and understanding of the business or function for a whole domain of business-related applications. Provides expert advice and counsel to user management and IT project teams for applications and systems in own area of expertise.
• Over ten years of progressive IT experience
• Experience with:
• CRM (Dynamics / Salesforce Migration)
• MSOffice integration
• Genesys call centre/ Open CTI
• PowerApps
• API / DSI/ BSI
• Data Management (Archiving, back-up and restore...)
• SSO / Authorisation

The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
