Duties Primary Function Facilitates and manages the use of electronic multi-user applications throughout the district as well as managing data for purposes of completing state reports. Reports To Executive Director of Information Services or designee Director of Information Services Qualifications Bachelor degree required with an emphasis of study in computer science or information technology, or the applicant has a bachelor degree along with proven equivalent work experience. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and electronically. Ability to utilize, as well as a willingness to learn, new software programs as required by the district. Demonstrate advanced use of productivity applications including Microsoft Office and Google Docs. Ability to multitask while maintaining an effective interface with others. Possess skills necessary to update and maintain a basic web site. Minimum 2 years experience supporting the use of electronic multi-user applications. Pre-employment medical examination, including tuberculosis clearance. Pass a Regional Office of Education Fingerprint/Background Clearance including Federal Bureau of Investigation. Organizational skills necessary to efficiently maintain operations. Utilize resources from other work units when required to perform the job's functions. Must communicate verbally and through email with district schools when providing information. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
