The Maestro Care Radiant Application Analyst is primarily responsible for the development and support of the Radiant application within the Maestro Care Electronic Health Record (Epic EHR).
EPIC ASSESSMENT: Candidates for this position may be required to complete a formal Epic assessment as part of the hiring process. The assessment is designed to identify candidates whose skills most closely align with the position requirements.
Work Performed
Level 1:
* Is required to obtain Epic certification and/or proficiency as defined by management through a combination of classroom instruction at Epic (Madison, Wisconsin), self-directed learning, multiple project assignments, and competency exams
* Provides system support and participates in a team on-call rotation where each team member is on call 24/7 for a week at a time to assist users with urgent Radiant issues as they arise
* Works on new features and optimizations to the system to improve workflows for users
* Works on daily production maintenance tasks as needed, such as working results routing work queues
* Participates in system updates as needed
* Participates in planning and providing customer training sessions on system use or revisions
* Assists in making oral and written presentations to project teams and management
* Completes moderately complex tasks and portions of larger information system projects with direction
* Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and follows all change control processes defined within Maestro Care
* Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Level 2
In addition to the duties described for Level 1, Level 2 will:
* Advise and assist with educational issues, including cross-training of team members
* Act as a Maestro Care EHR application expert for base functionality
* Update test plans to account for testing of new features with all releases
* Make oral and written presentations to project teams, management, and other departments
* Coordinate and operationalize simple to complex projects with direction
* Identify areas for procedural improvements
Level 3
In addition to the duties described for Level 2, Level 3 will:
* Act as a Maestro Care EHR application expert for all Radiant functionality, including researching topics as needed
* Assist with and teach other team members about advanced Radiant configuration
* Lead high profile projects for new functionality within Maestro Care Radiant
* Help manage requests (incidents, tasks, etc.) received by the team
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education/Training/Licensure:
* Bachelor's degree in a related clinical or technical field or four years of equivalent technical experience
* If applicable, maintenance of North Carolina licensure or certification in related clinical discipline
Experience:
* Level 1 - No experience required beyond the minimum education (or equivalency) requirement.
* Level 2 - Two years of related experience is required.
* Level 3 - Four years of related experience is required.

* Epic proficiency or certification
Experience:
* Level 1: One to two years of related experience; Radiant clinical experience
* Level 2: Three to five years of related experience; Radiant clinical experience
* Level 3: Five years or greater of related experience; Radiant clinical experience.
