Responsibilities -

• Chemical engineering graduate, postgraduate is preferred.
• Has at least 2 years of plant experience in Operations or Technical services in a major Chemical Industry (i.e. Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizers).
• Has completed at least one APC Project implementation cycle & has hands on experience of usage of APC tools like SMOC/PACE, DMC, Profit Suite etc.
• Has excellent understanding of Chemical engineering concepts especially in Process Dynamics & Control, Reaction engineering, Mass & Heat Transfer.
• Has used simulation tools and understands the usage of software applications in Chemical engineering field.
• Has knowledge of any programming language and has done programming as part of project work or course assignments.
• Attitude to learn the concepts and apply in project engineering.
• Willing to work on any applications in Chemical engineering field like APC, Blending, Energy Management, Planning & Scheduling erc.
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent hands-on experience of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
• Willing to travel inside, outside of India as needed for work.

Required Skills

• Ramp up quickly on the tools required for the project execution.
• Conduct APC project activities like Step test, Model identification, Control configuration & Simulation.
• Support Lead Engineer in APC project commissioning at plant site.
• Support Lead Engineer in APC trainings, FAT, SAT & other project related acceptance tests.
• Conduct performance monitoring & regular maintenance activities of APC project, post commissioning with the help of Lead Engineer / Consultant.
• Support APC consultant in preparation of scoping studies, benefit estimates & control strategies.
