Summary

Position Overview:

The Regional Director, Digital Marketing is an expert in their field and is responsible for developing and leading the respective regional Digital Client Services teams. This position will oversee the Asia Pacific to ensure seamless delivery, best-in-class customer service and subject matter expertise for clients across TPT Digital’s Digital Marketing service lines. The Regional Director, Digital Marketing must consistently hit targets communicated annually for client satisfaction, account growth, team development, revenue and profitability.


Job Description:

  • Contribute to the strategy, planning, implementation of client specific, digital marketing initiatives across the organization to drive revenue growth and profit
  • Oversee Client strategies for continued account planning and growth
  • Support sales in new business efforts relative to campaign strategies as needed
  • Lead a regional team of Digital Marketing Client Service professionals who manage and grow Digital Marketing accounts in a variety of industries
  • Effectively lead and motivate the team, through training, coaching, and developing, to maximize results and meet business objectives
  • Forecast, track and analyze regional data to achieve goals, including but not limited to revenue growth, profitability, quality, and retention
  • Continually monitor progress of the CS team for TDC Digital and identify areas for improvement both regionally and organizationally
  • Collaborate with sales team to grow business by attending client calls and meetings and assisting with proposals and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Collaborate with regional counterparts to develop channel best practices and templates for global production teams to execute against consistently
  • Contribute to organizational thought leadership initiatives including but not limited to blogs, white papers, Points of View (POVs), conferences, webinars etc. as appropriate.
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor


Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Confident coordinating internal teams, comfortable giving feedback and having difficult conversations with colleagues
  • Confident making strategic recommendations, and comfortable in client calls, meetings and presentations
  • Proven ability to create and lead results-driven digital marketing strategies in digital marketing channels including but not limited to: Paid Search, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Marketing, Social Media, and other digital channels as appropriate
  • Familiarity with best digital marketing practices, and continued evolutions in in Search Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing and other digital marketing areas as relevant.
  • Comfort with assigning and explaining complex project tasks to team members, clients and vendors across regions and continents
  • Confident with data analysis, and ability to use data to make strategic recommendations to clients
  • Ability to lead and navigate client calls, meetings and presentations (internal and client facing)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and make recommendations to improve (experience leading change a plus)
  • Exceptional client negotiation skills, with a proven track record of growing business in an agency setting
  • Experience managing a book of business with financial targets, and budgeting marketing/media plans
  • Experience leading and developing a client management/services team
  • Proven experience setting and managing to client health and financial growth goals
  • Proven experience in a sales/new-business setting either owning or collaborating with a team to propose/pitch new business to current and prospective clients
  • Proven track-record of new business wins / support of organizational growth
  • Proven ability to build a team and/or services offering to support a growing business (Entrepreneur mindset)


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism or other related
  • Minimum of 10 years of account management, business development or other relevant experience in Digital Marketing
  • Demonstrated success in winning, managing and growing international accounts agency-side
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in managing and leading digital marketing teams
  • Proven experience leading client-facing teams in international digital marketing and advertising
  • Client-facing experience in account management, project management and/or business development in the digital marketing industry
  • Prior experience running global projects with variable workloads and new business challenge
