We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to lead the development of high-performance Android applications. This is an opportunity to work on impactful projects in a fast-paced startup environment while collaborating with top-tier engineers.

We’re looking for developers with expertise in large-scale system design, distributed computing, AI, UI design, security, and mobile development. You will take ownership of Android development, ensuring quality, efficiency, and best-in-class user experiences.

• Architect, develop, and optimize high-performance Android applications
• Write and debug code in Kotlin and Java
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend teams
• Participate in, or lead, design reviews and technical discussions
• Optimize Android applications for speed, efficiency, and performance
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Stay updated on the latest Android development trends and best practices
• Debug and resolve issues related to hardware, software, or system architecture
  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in Android development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with Jetpack components, Material Design, and Android SDK
• Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA, or Lehi, UT
  

• Strong preference for candidates with prior experience at Microsoft or Dropbox
• Experience in technical leadership and cross-team collaboration
• Knowledge of Android app internationalization and localization
• Experience in performance optimization and debugging complex Android applications
  

• Ability to work in an office environment and be present on-site daily during business hours
• Must be able to manage changing priorities and work effectively under deadlines
