What You Will Do
Gabb is looking for our next Android Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team! In this role, you will be developing apps for the leading safe tech watch for kids. Additionally, you will:
>Develop and maintain apps for AOSP devices, both at the system level and the application level
>Develop proofs-of-concept and production-ready code
>Meet deadlines with high quality, maintainable code
>Build reusable and sustainable code for long-term projects
>Assist/Contribute into technical architecture discussions
>Implement unit tests to ensure the quality of code and software
>Create technical application documentation to support the app design and development if needed
>Work closely with colleagues in marketing and product development to improve app design and functionality

What You Will Do

What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of Android development experience
- Proficient in Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines
- MVVM architecture experience (or similar)
- Knowledge of Android interapp communication
- Experience developing Firmware for custom built hardware devices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related emphasis
- Experience with UI testing frameworks
- Smartwatch experience
- MQTT experience
- CI/CD
- AOSP experience
- Battery profiling
- Location tracking experience
