Hope you are staying safe. We are looking for an Android Developer to join our digital platform team for new initiatives. The role will be responsible for developing responsive web applications on an Android platform. The candidate will work through design, develop, optimize and support critical mobile applications for large Fortune 100 Financial company.

What will you do?

• Evaluate new mobile methodologies and technologies.
• Use the Android SDK and Kotlin while developing apps for mobiles and other Android devices
• Build re-usable Android software components.
• Monitor performance of the live apps and continuously improve them on both code and user experience level.
• Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Back end teams to design, build, extend existing and new products and features for mobile applications.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to elaborate, design, and implement new features
• Collaborate with QA to make sure our app releases are always smooth and bug free.
• Identify and fix bugs, work on app performance
• Troubleshoot code for edge usability, reliability, and edge cases
• Raise the bar by reviewing each other's code, share knowledge, tips and tricks, and generally help out - within and across teams.
• Keep abreast with new technologies. Estimate and implement them in order to make app development faster and easier

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 4 Years of Experience into Android application development
• Strong experience in Kotlin Programming Language
• Familiar with Android SDK (Components, Patterns, Architecture, Versions difference).
• Experience with libraries such as OKHTTP, GSON.
• Deep understanding of Java or Kotlin.
• You must have working knowledge of several architectural approaches, caching, data storage and security.
• Solving complicated problems and understanding needs are part of your core strengths.
• You are highly accountable, take ownership and have a collaborative attitude.
