(Android App Developer)

Responsibilities:

A. Product support

1. Work with UX designer to Implement intuitive user-facing features for the Android application
2. Maintain the project health by monitoring test flakiness, and fix the flaky tests
3. Manage Android SDK upgrades and implement necessary code adjustments for platform behavior changes
4. Respond to some customer questions about the product

B. Issue management

1. Investigate and resolve critical issues reported by users, deliver timely fixes to maintain application stability and user satisfaction
2. Perform root cause analysis by synthesizing information from server logs and detailed Android bug report

C. Metric dashboard support

1. Monitor existing metric dashboard, add new visualizations when necessary.

Min. Qualifications:

1. 3 years of Android mobile app development experience
2. 3 years of Java development experience
3. Experience with source version control system such as Git, VCS, or SVN
4. Experience with ETL tools
5. Taiwan APRC & Mandarin capability are required w/ expat.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 2 years of experience with Android integration test
2. Experience with Android framework knowledge
3. Experience working on backend, analytics and SQL scripting
4. Experience with full-stack debugging, feature development, and launch
5. Experience with Kotlin
6. Experience with performance optimization
