Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with 4–6 years of experience and a Statement of Work (SOW) already in place. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Android development, performance tuning, and UI/UX best practices. Responsibilities:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, reusable, and efficient Java code

• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Android SDK and multiple Android versions

• Experience handling different screen sizes and device compatibility

• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

• Familiar with RESTful APIs for integration with backend services

• Hands-on experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Skilled in building intuitive user interfaces, including touch interactions

• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and common libraries

• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications

• A knack for benchmarking and performance optimization

• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

What do we offer?

• 25 holiday days per year
• Hybrid and full remote contracts will receive 150 RON/month for home gas/electricity/broadband bills

• The employees working on bank holidays will be benefitting either of a paid day off in the next 30 days + 100% of the hourly base salary for that specific day OR 200% of the hourly base salary for that specific day.
