Senior Android Automotive Engineer – Göteborg

As a Senior Android Automotive Engineer, you drive technical decisions, develop Android applications for vehicles, and support the team. You take ownership of deliveries and work closely with customers to ensure smart, safe, and high-quality solutions.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development (Java, Kotlin, Android SDK).
• Experience with embedded and automotive systems.
• Solid understanding of Android UI/UX principles.
• Skilled with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software architecture.
• Fluent English skills, strong problem-solving ability, and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Android automotive applications.
• Lead technical discussions and decision-making.
• Support and mentor team members.
• Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or similar protocols.
• Familiarity with RTOS and vehicle system architecture.
• Understanding of cybersecurity in automotive systems.
• Experience with vehicle networking and compliance standards.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
