The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices, including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. Key Responsibilities: ● Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. ● Work with outside data sources and APIs. ● Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. ● Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. ● Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Desired Skills and Qualifications: ● Minimum 1 year of proven software development experience in Android development. ● Experience with Android SDK, remote data via REST and JSON, third-party libraries and APIs. ● Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. ● Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. ● Proficient in Java (J2EE/J2ME) and familiar with Database Technologies (SQLite, MySQL). ● Strong knowledge in Mobile Application Life Cycle & Mobile UI Design. ● Experience with Android Studio, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML. ● Must have hands-on experience in publishing apps on the Play Store. ● Excellent ability to develop and understand algorithms. ● Must be familiar with API implementation.
