We are seeking a passionate and determined Android Developer to join our engineering team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain the company’s Android applications
• Collaborate with web and iOS developers to ensure seamless integration and consistency across platforms
• Proactively suggest improvements to the app’s architecture and user experience as UI/UX is critical for us
• Write structured, reusable code with clear comments explaining key functionalities
• Safeguard the projects’ documentation with the utmost caution against any information breach
• Contribute to team discussions about features and implementation details
• Maintain and organize project documentation for easy access and reference
• Present progress upon request during a meeting with the business/tech stakeholders
• Ensure compatibility and optimal performance of apps across various Android devices and OS versions
• Stay informed about the latest Android updates and trends, implementing improvements as needed
• Upkeep agreed timelines and milestones
• Other tasks as assigned

What you will need:

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and experience working with remote data via JSON and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in native Android development using Kotlin, Git, MVVM, Clean architecture, Jetpack and Room
• Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience translating Figma designs into functional, pixel-perfect Android UI
• Understanding of the mobile development landscape, including architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is considered a plus
