Piper Companies is looking for an Analytics Practice Lead to join an IT services/consulting company. This is a full-time position and based in Washington DC with some onsite meetings required.

Essential Duties of the Analytics Practice Lead:

• Growing our data and analytics capability in the region-leading delivery, mentoring team members, and engaging directly with clients to solve complex problems.
• Lead the design and implementation of modern data strategies and platforms across client engagements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders-translating complex technical concepts into business value.
• Stay current on trends and best practices in data engineering, data governance, cloud platforms, and AI/ML enablement.
  
  

Qualifications of the Analytics Practice Lead:

• 12+ years of experience in data analytics/engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or consulting role.
• Expertise in tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Power BI/Tableau, and other modern data stack components.
• Experience with a large consulting or professional services company.
• Strong track record of big data modernizations.
• Very strong soft skills.
  
  

Compensation for the Analytics Practice Lead:

• $180,000 - $220,000 (based on experience)
