Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, SQL, Tableau, and business intelligence solutions, with the ability to provide strategic insights that drive business decisions. This role demands advanced analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
Work with cross-functional teams to identify key business metrics, trends, and actionable insights and build the required dashboards. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement data-driven strategies and reporting solutions
Design and execute complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
Write extensible SQL reporting assets/staging tables/views/data sources to drive dashboards
Develop ETL pipelines and automate data workflows to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Provide deep-dive analyses on key performance indicators (KPIs), financial performance, and operational efficiencies
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing strong data governance practices
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence technologies and methodologies
Requirements
Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role
Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud-based databases (Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and pipeline automation
Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present complex data findings to executive leadership
Experience working in an enterprise environment, preferably within the technology, healthcare, or financial sectors
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
