What you’ll do:
As an
Analyst, Quality you will be responsible for ongoing performance improvement processes, including activities such as data collection, analysis of clinical information and application of organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Interprets and communicates quality related information to achieve compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and analyzes clinical data for multiple areas of focus by retrospective and current record review.
- Monitors results for trends and exceptions.
- Communicates and explains findings through various methods of reporting.
- Collaborates with physicians, clinical departments and clinical informatics to identify and address opportunities for improvement in care processes and documentation to achieve goals of compliance with evidence based standards.
- Explores strategies for effective improvement methods.
- Evaluates learning needs of employees related to performance improvement and quality measures.
- Educates nurses and physicians in current standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and applies changes for data submission based on regulatory specifications
- Develops plans to implement changes based on findings.
- Participates in performance improvement related projects and teams.
- Assists in orientation of new employees for quality and performance improvement related initiatives.
What you’ll need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Required License: Current RN to practice in the state of NC
- Minimum Work Experience: 2-3 years clinical experience preferred
- Required Skills: Experience with record review & data analysis preferred Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Attention to detail
