Summary

This role will focus on supporting the ongoing compliance with IFRS and US statutory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for learning and growing in the insurance industry. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, PowerBI, Power Query, Alteryx or similar. * In-depth familiarity with technology tools for automation (e.g., RPA, AI, machine learning) is a must. * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with business segments and other finance departments. * Demonstrates accountability by following through on commitments and effectively managing competing priorities to meet deadlines. * Additional hours may be necessary during peak periods to ensure timely completion of tasks. * Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. Pay Range for roles performed in NY: $85,000-$100,000 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives.
