About Capgemini Financial Services, Financial Crime Compliance

Capgemini Advisory Solutions professionals provide financial institutions and corporate clients with practical solutions to support anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance programs. Capgemini’s FS team in Romania is seeking to hire professionals with know-your-customer (KYC) experience.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• No previous experience is required
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning, with an openness to receiving feedback and training
• Excellent and demonstrated analytical ability. Strong attention to detail, focus on execution of tasks, and adaptability to meet changing priorities, as well as ability to maintain focus on end goal.
• English language proficiency (oral and written form); additional language skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, plan work activities and use time efficiently
• Computer and internet proficient, with mastery of Microsoft applications required
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on client locations and needs is considered a plus

Your future role:

• Reviewing alerted transactional activity in search of potentially suspicious activity, such as money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Performing KYC on individual and enterprise customer files using client’s internal standards
• Performing investigative research to enrich customer files within the KYC process
• Reviewing screening alerts to identify customers who are conducting business in sanctioned countries or with sanctioned parties, politically exposed persons and adverse media alerts
• Performing day-to-day activities in support of consulting projects, including interacting with client personnel, other team members, and professionals from other firms involved in the engagement.
