Job Title: Analyst, Data Science

Location: Plano, TX

Work Set up: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)


CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a talented Data Science Analyst who excels at the intersection of data engineering, statistical modeling, and business insight. This individual will play a key role in delivering end-to-end data solutions, from data wrangling to predictive modeling and business recommendations. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact business questions and transform them into data-driven solutions.
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets using SQL and Python (Pandas, Numpy).
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
  • Present insights through clear visualizations and storytelling tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deploy models from development to production within a cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Contribute to software development tasks in a Python environment.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and integrate emerging tools or methods into the workflow.


Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
  • Strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience building models using scikit-learn, statsmodels, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with advanced modeling methods: Logistic Regression, Time Series Analysis, GLMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Neural Networks, etc.
  • Proficient in version control using GitHub.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
  • Knowledge of AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or other cloud-based ML platforms.
  • Experience working in Snowflake, Netezza, or Microsoft SQL environments.
  • Familiarity with SAS programming.
  • Understanding of financial modeling and cash flow analysis is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to influence across teams and modernize legacy systems.
