Summary

Role: Analyst

Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)


Core Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection & Entry
  • Gather, receive, and input data from field teams, surveys, or digital sources into internal databases.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness throughout the data intake process.
  1. Data Labeling & Annotation
  • Tag and label raw data (text, image, audio, or video) based on predefined project schemas.
  • Ensure consistency in annotation for AI/ML training, UX research, or product tagging use cases.
  1. Data Migration & Tracker Management
  • Transfer verified data to client-facing trackers (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, Airtable) based on project cadence.
  1. Data Quality Assurance
  • Perform quality control reviews to identify gaps, duplicates, or inconsistencies.
  • Apply standardization rules and escalate flagged issues for resolution.
  1. Compliance & Confidentiality
  • Handle all data in compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, or contractual data policies.
  • Ensure proper access control and secure handling of sensitive participant information.
  1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare daily/weekly logs, tracker updates, and status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Document data workflows and contribute to updating standard operating procedures.
  1. Collaboration & Communication
  • Coordinate with project leads, field teams, and QA analysts to ensure data flows align with project timelines.
  • Communicate blockers, tool issues, or formatting challenges proactively.
  1. Tools & Platforms
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheet..
  • Familiar with labeling tools, basic scripting (optional), and remote data sync protocols.
