Brunel is looking to hire an Allocation Analyst to work with one of our Oil and Gas client in Midland, TX on a long term contract!!

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, reconcile, and report daily and monthly production volumes
• Ensure timely and accurate accruals and monthly close volumes for revenue accounting
• Set up new wells and measurement equipment in internal production systems
• Collaborate with field personnel to support data entry and system use
• Investigate and resolve volume discrepancies using internal tools and software
• Prepare and submit state and federal regulatory production reports
• Enter and reconcile crude oil and water tickets with third-party statements
• Process Prior Period Adjustments (PPAs) as needed
• Understand field production equipment and flow processes
• Generate and distribute monthly production reports to partners and stakeholders
• Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and user testing

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with production allocation systems (e.g., Avocet) and reporting tools (e.g., Spotfire) preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in oil and gas production operations is a plus
