Job Summary

As a Data Scientist (AI/ML) at Amlgo Labs, you will play a crucial role in building and deploying sophisticated machine learning and deep learning models to address complex business challenges. You will work within our Technology Innovation Vertical, collaborating with a team of talented engineers and researchers to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models, with a strong emphasis on NLP.
• Train and optimize transformer-based models for various applications.
• Convert ML/DL/AI models into production-ready data processing and validation pipelines.
• Deploy models to cloud environments and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Develop and deploy Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, information extraction, and question answering.
• Utilize transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa, GPT) to achieve state-of-the-art performance in NLP tasks.
• Work with multi-modal models such as OpenAI CLIP/BLIP or Langchain, RAG to integrate and analyze data from various sources (text, images, etc.).
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data patterns and identify features relevant to model development.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Utilize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to manage and query data.
• Awareness of managed database services like cloud provided PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
• Keep up to date with the newest research papers and implement the newest techniques.
• Identify and solve complex data-related problems using advanced AI/ML techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
• Clearly communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of total experience in software development and machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning and deep learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Proven experience in training and deploying NLP models.
• Extensive experience with transformer-based models.
• Expertise in NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in converting ML/DL/AI models to production-ready data processing validation.
• Awareness of managed database services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with multi-modal models (OpenAI CLIP/BLIP, Langchain, RAG).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
