Job Overview
The Part 135 Dispatcher will be responsible for managing flight logistics, responding to communications, and coordinating crew activities. This role involves working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment where quick decision-making and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and company chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan logistics, release flights, and monitor flight progress and delays.
- Arrange international permits, handling, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate crew positioning and logistics, ensuring all operations run smoothly.
- Scrutinize crew duty and rest periods to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist with other dispatch-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Prior experience in aviation is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with aviation terminology and concepts is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required to support 24/7 operations.
Training
Training will be provided for this role. Candidates will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in the position.
