• Plan, direct, and monitor all Export documentation and warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with carriers’ operations staff and sales personnel, to ensure proper handling of freight and documentation.
• Plan and coordinate air operations and warehouse activities according to flight schedules.
• Assign work schedules to the Operations and Warehouse personnel.
• Train and supervise the Operations and Warehouse personnel.
• Coordinate customer’s shipping schedules with carriers; and to ensure customer’s needs are met.
• Take appropriate and constructive action on customer complaints.
• Maintain close contacts with field sales personnel in order to respond expeditiously to customers’ needs.
• Coordinate with Accounting personnel to ensure all A/Rs and A/Ps are proper credited and billed.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work place; and proper maintenance of all related records.
• Ensure proper verification of all airline/trucking bills before approving for payment.
• Maintain up-to-date records on tariff/contract rates on available carriers - airlines,inland/interstate trucking.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the District Management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in Freight
  
  

Forwarding.

• At least 5 years Air Export Operation management
  
  

experience.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Air
  
  

Export & Operations.

• Significant external network with carrier and
  
  

potential customers.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively
  
  

interact with internal and external customers.
