Role Overview

HolboxAI is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking AI/ML Engineer Lead to drive our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives. As the AI/ML Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the development of advanced AI/ML models, frameworks, and AI-driven products. You will work with a talented team of engineers and data scientists to create scalable, robust AI solutions, empowering our customers and partners with next-generation AI technologies. This is a leadership role that will blend technical excellence, strategic thinking, and hands-on engineering work.

Who You Are

- Provide strategic and technical leadership to a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists, ensuring effective collaboration and high-performance development.

- Define the AI/ML strategy and roadmap that aligns with HolboxAI’s overall business goals.

- Lead the design, development, and architecture of scalable AI/ML solutions, leveraging Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high-performance workloads.

- Spearhead the research, development, and deployment of Machine Learning models, including Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI techniques.

- Champion the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies, such as Large Language Models, Diffusion Models, and Agentic AI systems.

- Drive AI product development from prototype to production, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise-grade solutions.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver impactful AI-powered products and features.

- Stay on top of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and frameworks, evaluating their application to accelerate business growth.

- Mentor and develop junior AI team members, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team environment.

- Contribute to business growth by engaging in pre-sales activities, technical presentations, and client interactions.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development, deployment, and optimization in production environments.

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for running AI/ML workloads.

- Extensive experience in Data Science methodologies, including data wrangling, feature engineering, and statistical analysis.

- Deep hands-on experience with popular AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn for model development and deployment.

- Proven experience working with Generative AI models, such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Diffusion Models.

- Expertise in building and deploying Agentic AI systems that drive intelligent automation and workflows.

- Strong understanding of MLOps principles and tools for scalable AI solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, inspire, and grow technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments at scale, with a strong focus on operational efficiency.

- Experience with MLOps practices, DevOps tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Industry certifications in Cloud and AI technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).

- Contributions to AI research with publications, white papers, or conference presentations.
